A Matched wing & the body still has its injection casting attched! Very cool! A ‘Test-Shot’ or Prototype Body Color run is where TYCO would try out new ideas. There were very few ever made. The Production department would often provide white samples of the final production sample. TYCO would then have their Modeling department mock up ideas brought to them by the Marketing department. The modeling team would often start with a plain white body for simplicity. They would then paint it, decal it & coat it per the design ideas from Marketing. The modeling department could also request different colors from the production department. These colors could range from green to black to Hot Pink & clear to many shades & degrees of translucent opacity. NONE WERE MADE IN LARGE QUANTITIES. Often the colored or translucent bodies were made in runs of 24 or less worldwide! The bodies here are just such samples.
